A rose by any other name...

This is for all those doubters who thought I would destroy our home's beautiful rose garden
ie me.

But all credit should go to my mom-in-law Margie. She created the garden, despite continual pressure from her sons who thought it would be better to cement it over, and turn it into a basketball court. The pressure continues, incidentally, but having picked this bowl full of buds, I am extremely unlikely to give in.

Well at last we get a bit of time to catch up on what the Bishops have been up to! The flowers are nice, but prefer the pic of Elvis and real love!

Can't wait to get to the Drakensberg when we're in PMB - how much does the mountain goat guide cost, or does the guy in the green shirt also know his way around?

See you in PMB! Just repeating to myself "I live in Pietermaritzburg"...starting to sink in.

Have you scoped out the mini-golf scene?

Bridge, I'm terribly sorry to have to inform you that all forms of mini-golf, and it's allied disciplines, have been banned within a 10km radius of Pmb.This is due to the disturbingly high number of hip fractures that have resulted from inexperienced people playing this extreme sport. I do however have a contact at the local driving range (he sells buckets of balls), so you could go there and just drive really badly. That would be mini-golf...
Btw, I wouldn't advise following either the mountain-goat or the-guy-in-the-green-shirt into the mountains. The former would have you hanging by your fingernails from the edge of a cliff, and the latter wouldn't be able to guide you out of the car park.
But never fear, we are sure to find something fun to do in this part of the world...
