Still waiting

In case anyone out there is wondering - no baby yet! 38 weeks today...

And in case anyone else wants to give us helpful advice - we know. Sleep while we can, go to the movies, enjoy the peace and quiet etc etc yadda yadda yadda.

Still unsure of his name - we're hoping he'll tell us when he arrives. The only suggestions we've had have either been the suggestors own name, or the name Griespomp. Thanks for all the help...

A wedding on a beach

Ali and Stewart were married on the beach at a little town called Yzerfontein on the Cape West Coast.

It was pretty windy on the day but that didn't detract very much from the festivities!

Many meetings

We spent a wonderful weekend in Cape Town over Easter. We were there for Ali and Stewart's wedding, but also managed to see a number of old friends. Unfortunately we forgot to get pics of all of them - but here a few pics that we did remember to take:

This is taken outside John's new house - he's really moving up in the world in many ways:-)

And here are Karl and Gill at the wedding reception. We also met Karl and Sal's little girl Emma - they make parenting look like a walk-in-park!

Here I am with Helen, Rob and Bridge at breakfast the day after the wedding.

We also were lucky enough to coincide our visit with Cath and Nick K-J's visit from the UK, so we enjoyed breakfast and a Sharks game with them. On Sunday we had a marvelous lunch (as always!) with Keren and Nils, and were joined by Loid and Jax and there little boy Matthew.

I think we'll have to turn Christenings into huge events, so that there's an excuse for everyone to meet up periodically...
